Lalit Bhagat

Recently graduated with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I was advised by Prof. Bolei Zhou and Prof. Cho-Jui Hsieh. Prior to this, I earned my Bachelor’s degree with honours in Computer Science & Engineering from JIIT, India.

During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to work as a Teaching Associate (formerly Teaching Assistant) at UCLA. You can find my teaching reviews and ratings here.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy indulging in my creative hobbies, such as photography, sketching, and reading. Some of my photographic work has been featured on the social media pages of @ucla on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Oct 24, 2023	Invited as a speaker to be part of the ACM AI Research panel at UCLA, where I discussed how to embark on a career in AI and become involved in AI labs at the university.
Apr 22, 2022	Honored to be awarded the prestigious Graduate Council Diversity Fellowship for the 2022-2023 academic year at UCLA. This fellowship will significantly support my educational journey.
